Pear smoothy

Lovely light smoothy, one with a very delicate and refreshing taste. It's just a mix of pears,evaporated milk,light sugar and added vanilla (although not added here).

180 movie documentary

Pretty awesome site from Living Waters. They are showing the trailer for the "180 movie" documentary. Apparently it's changing the minds of people from being pro-choice to a set view of being pro-life. September 26th will be the viewing date for the actual documentary itself for free.

Some Old Hobbies: Cont'd

I used to re-create clothings as well as making art. Did it by getting some old fabrics (dresses, shirts etc prob from a thrift store) and just recreate them to become something new. Stopped doing this a while back (about two years ago), not sure why (probably b/c my sewing machine broke). Well I might be able to find a sewing store around here to get it fixed soon. Creating new clothes can be so much fun.

Some Old Hobbies: Art

Art is definitely one of my most favorite hobbies. I love both drawing and painting. Would like to get back on a sketch pad/canvas during this long period break if possible. Maybe I can use this gift to send out gifts to loved ones :). <3

Braiding continues!

Yay! It's definitely been a while since I braided/twisted hair. Was pleased to do my neighbor's daughter's hair. It's that time of the year again (back to school :I). The hair took some time to do but I love doing hair so it was a such a pleasure to do hers.

She ended up doing twist with an application of curls on the ends. :)

August 21st

What a blessed Sunday morning <3. :) Attended Emmanuel Baptist once again. The sermon preached was amazing. It showed such a wonderful examination on the principles of conversion and the role man plays within. A clear distinction was made from the act of regeneration that is accomplished solely by the Holy Spirit and conversion which entails action that proceeds from man, the act of repentance, a turning to God from sin in faith. Regeneration brings about these abilities (faith and repentance) that are made manifest from a truly converted soul. 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10.
